The MIA Academy is an online initiative created for Young Water Professionals (YWPs) who are eager to explore how mathematical models and modelling tools can be applied to manage and enhance the quality of the aquatic environment.
Through a series of educational sessions, the Academy provides both newcomers and those wishing to deepen their expertise with a strong foundation in modelling. Each session is carefully designed to balance theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that core modelling concepts are presented in a clear and accessible way.
Starting in October 2025, sessions will be hosted monthly and recorded, giving participants the flexibility to revisit the material at their own pace. Additional resources, including recommended readings and references, will also be provided to support continued learning.
